The “Thoughts on Playtime" zine is a personal project I took on during the summer of 2024. Based on my favorite film, 'Playtime' by Jacques Tati, I analyzed and interpreted certain scenes that stood out to me and seemed relevant in today's world. In my writing, I unpacked why I deeply loved the film, certain moments I found engaging and complex, and bridged connections to the deeper meanings of simultaneous movements in music and the arts during the late 1960s while also connecting the film to present-day aspects.
