A graphic design project created over 3 months. The 70-page book consists of 7 graphic design prompts, with 10 designs each:
1. One size, one font 2. One size, two fonts 3. Two sizes, two fonts 4. One size, one font, lines
5. Any size, one font, bars 6. Any size, any font, bars, lines 7. Any size, any font, any number of images.
In this project, I learned skills from the basics of typography to the advanced complexities of graphic composition. Discovering the connection between architecture and typography, and how an architectural style such as Tadao Ando’s, known for complex, concrete geometric forms, can be transformed into typographic cover designs.
